The contest has finished! Thanks to all those that entered and congratulations to the winners!
Horace the plush zombie is looking for a home.
Maybe yours.
Zombie Fortress is having a contest! Check the bottom of the page for how to enter. Here's what you can win:
18 winners, drawn at random, will get a set of 5 limited edition, 1 inch buttons, inspired by Zombie Fortress, and designed by some of my favorite artists:
Daniel Davis - Co-owner of Steam Crow with his wife, Dawna, and creator of the Monster Commute webcomic. Daniel's heavily vectored creatures often make me feel hungry, which I'm pretty sure isn't the right reaction. He has also just released his fourth book! Monsters, ghosts, goblins, robots, and even the occasional zombie, all living in a world powered by steam.
Natalie Bojórquez - Art student extraordinaire. It would be difficult to try to explain her art style because it varies so much. Cute cartoon characters, vine covered torsos, two-headed bears vomiting blood and bodies... I really have no idea what kind of button I'm going to get from her, except that it will be awesome.
Erin Rose Tollefsen - A freelance artist and crafter, and owner of Little Shop of Zombies. Erin is all about zombies. At Little Shop of Zombies you will find her hand-sculpted zombie miniatures, Zombikins. She also does great, zombifying photo manipulations.
Philippa Rice - Besides having an awesome name, Philippa is the creator of the webcomic My Cardboard Life, where she makes each panel physically with cardboard, paper, aluminum foil, coins, cookies, spoons, fabric, bandaids, and toothpicks, among other things. She also knits stuffed animals, and makes crazily busy drawings of futuristic cities.
Me - (Yes, I did technically just call myself one of my favorite artists. People should be proud of their work.) I sometimes make plush zombies, and buttons. I also try to build iPhone games. If you'd like to help, and get something in return, check out my Kickstarter page.
(In case you are wondering. The buttons aren't made yet. I'm still waiting on the artwork. I only sent out the button templates the day before the contest started. I'll post artwork as I get it so you can see what they will look like.)
2 winners! The person with the most entries, and a randomly drawn winner, will get a set of the buttons and a plush Horace zombie of their very own! The more you enter the better your chances!
